Pauline's Hair Care Routine - Dyed Hair

I dyed my hair purple TWICE a few weeks ago. The first time I used Vidal Sassoon Salonist and it gave my hair a slight red tint. A few days later, I used Live Color XXL by Schwarzkopf and it made my hair black with a purple shine and I actually really like it. I bought two boxes since my hair is ridiculously thick but I ended up not needing the second box because of the amount of dye in the bottle. I swear, I thought at one point that it would never end.

The more I wash my hair, the more the purple comes out which just shows how much dye was in there.

Anyway, caring for dyed hair does mean altering your normal routine a little bit. Firstly, your shampoo and conditioner require a swap to one that is made specifically for coloured hair since it doesn't take out the dye (great when your hair is dyed a semi-permanent colour). I went from using Herbal Essences Bee Strong to Ignite My Colour.

Washing your hair every day turns into a big no-no since it dries out your hair; really you shouldn't wash your hair every day in the first place but it's more important if your hair has dye.

Other than that, my hair care routine is still pretty similar to what it was before in terms of styling and maintenance. I haven't changed things like my heat protection for when I straighten it or my leave in conditioner. I do style my hair less, though, because it has been through a lot. I'm still amazed that my hair is still really thick...

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

Bella's Hair Care Routine and Products

My hair care routine is super simple and really nothing out of the ordinary. However, there are a few products that I swear by and wanted to share with you!

Pantene moisture renewal is my absolute favorite shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair really soft and more importantly it smells AMAZING!

After I get out of the shower I apply the it's a 10 miracle leave in conditioner. This stuff makes the biggest difference in my hair and I really notice when I don't use it. It makes my hair smoother, less tangled, healthier, and helps it grow faster.

Two other products that I absolutely love are the Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray and the Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo.

That's pretty much it for my hair care routine! Let me know what your favorite hair care products are in the comments below! Thanks for reading!

Ró's Very Simple Haircare Routine

Hello Fabulous Internet!
My haircare routine is very simple as my hair isn't very long (its about chest length), I don't have a sensitive scalp and my hair isn't very greasy. I wash my hair twice a week and in between washes I use dry shampoo (I don't know where I would be without it).

Currently I am using Alberto Balsam Tea Tree Shampoo and Pantene Pro-V Volume & Body Conditioner. I really enjoy the shampoo as it is tingly on my scalp and is gentle. I have quiet thick hair and this conditioner does the job wonderfully. I normally don't keep repurchasing the same shampoo or conditioner as I haven't found one that I love and can't live without.

If I have been using a lot of heat on my hair or if I think if needs a bit more nourishment, I will get some coconut oil and rub it through my hair and put it up in a bun. I can leave this in my hair for 20 minutes or overnight. After I wash it out, shampoo and condition my hair, my hair feels o soft and healthy. (This coconut oil I picked up in Tesco).

After I get out of the shower, I get an old cotton T-shirt and wrap my hair in it, this helps your hair to dry quicker. I spray between 4-6 pumps of Montibel.lo Smart Touch + Treatment and I distribute it all over my hair. It makes it easier to brush out. After I have brushes my hair fully out and fixed my parting, I get a pea sized amount of Hask Argan Oil Healing Shine Hair Treatment and concentrate it to the ends of my hair. If I have time I will leave my hair to air dry but if I am in a hurry I will blow dry it.

These are the two hair brushes I use (I think I got them in Primark/Pennies).
I use Batiste Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic when my hair becomes slightly greasy. I normally spray some into my hair the night before as the white marks never seem to go away if I do it that morning.

See you,

Guilianna's Haircare Routine (Long Hair)

Hello everyone!

This week on The Little Chatter Boxes we're describing our haircare routines with you. My haircare routine specifically relates to females with longer hair.

// Shampoo & Conditioner //

Buy here: http://aussie.com/
Leave-In-Conditioner

For self-pampering days I like to apply this product to the ends of my hair to ensure that they are getting the moisture they need. It helps my hair from looking dead and fried.

Hair Mask

Unfortunately I don't have a picture to represent my favorite hair mask, but I'll have a link below. I got a baby sample from Ulta awhile ago. Love, love, love it! It lasted me a very long time.

Then, since it's summer I've been letting my hair air dry and putting it into a side fishtail braid.

A Day In The Life of Pauline

I never have a regular day anymore. When I was still in sixth form I did because a school schedule kept me pretty organised for each day. Now I sort of wing it through each day...

Anyway, a somewhat typical Friday now starts off in the late morning. I wake up any time between 8.30am and 12pm, spend some time on my phone whilst still in bed and then eventually get up and out for some food. I don't think I've ever eaten so little since the end of school. I don't snack as much or have as much during meals. But, at the same time, I am not very active and usually lounge around a lot so it doesn't really make that much of a difference. I'm not saying be lazy and don't eat; that's a terrible idea. I'm a terrible person. Don't be me.

The afternoon can go one of two ways.

The first way is that I spend the majority of the time talking to my friends on my phone, babysitting my little siblings and doing chores. Maybe I'll be out with friends. Generally, I just waste a lot of time.

The second way is that I spend the first half getting ready for work - showering, ironing my uniform, preparing my bag, doing my make up, all that stuff - and the second half I'll be on a bus and then at work, usually finishing some time in the evening.

After dinner, I do some more tidying up around the house because going to sleep with a messy house just gives everyone more stuff to deal with in the morning. I'm then either on my laptop, like I am now, watching TV shows online or I'm already in bed on Facebook, talking to my friends late into the night, mainly my boyfriend (his sleep cycle is screwed).

I pass out anytime between 1am and 4am. My sleeping pattern is just as bad...

As you can see, I lead a very interesting life!

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

A Day In Bella's Life~ Summer Edition

Here is a sneak peak of a typical summer day of my life!

After waking up I typically start the day with a few episodes of Grey's Anatomy. (I'm not going to lie I often spend most of the day doing this.) Once I get out of bed I get ready for the day.

(I was feeling some comic strip photo art)

If I am feeling productive, I write down my activities and to do list for the day in my planner. I just got this one and it is from target. Even for those of you who are not all that organized, this is still a great way to start off your day.

Then I go about any activities that the day has to offer. This often includes spending time with friends, going to the movies, or taking a trip to the pool. This week I have been super busy with a dance intensive all day. I typically try to get some work done for school or my blog but that does not always happen.

(Ahh my desk is so messy!)

After dinner I spend the rest of the night watching more Grey's Anatomy or blogging. I also usually shower before bed. Click here to see my full  shower routine. Before bed I try to write in my journal (although my day is often not exciting enough to write about) and I make myself some herbal tea. Before bed I really enjoy Twinings Camomile or Wild Berry herbal tea. And then comes one of my favorite parts of the day... bed.

(I'm so in love with my pajama bottoms from Old Navy)

There you have a typical day in my life! I know that it's not too exciting but I hope that you enjoyed it anyways! Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to check out my blog! arabella-jane.blogspot.com

A Day In Róisín's Life

Hello Fabulous Internet!
Here is a normal Wednesday in 3rd Year for me! Just to point out I did more than the subjects mentioned, I just wanted to show you what my actual Wednesday is like! I decided to do this A Day In My Life during school as now every day is completely different.
7:15am I wake up to the generic Apple alarm, I drag myself out of bed and go downstairs to have Breakfast. Breakfast normally isn't that interesting, it would be cereal or toast. I get dressed, do my hair and makeup, sort out my school bag.
8:10am I get on the bus to school
8:40am I arrive at school, go to my locker , get my books organised for the first 3 classes and chat to my friends.
9:00am- 11am I have classes Geography, English and Religion. The only subject I really liked out of these three was Geography
11am-11:15am BREAK
I go to my locker and sort out my books for the next 3 classes, have a something to eat and chat to friends.
11:15am- 1:10pm I have a double class of Music and SPHE (Health education). This set of classes was pretty chilled, I had a light bag (for once).
1:10pm- 1:55pm LUNCH
I sort out books for the next 3 classes, eat lunch, chat with friends and go outside of it is nice or not (knowing Irish weather it could be anything outside!).
1:55pm-3:50pm I have Irish, French and Maths. I kinda dreaded these classes.
3:50pm-4:00pm I get my homework from my locker and get onto my bus.
4:00pm-4:35pm I'm on the bus either talking to people or listening to music depends on my mood.
4:35pm-5:30pm I have dinner, get changed out of my uniform and go on the Internet.
5:30pm-8:30pm I do my homework and then study (pretty boring. I know!). I would normally take a break in between finishing my homework and starting study, in this break I would practice my guitar and piano.
8:30pm-10:15pm I go on the Internet, check my emails, read blogs, check my blog, go on YouTube watch a lot of videos.
10:15pm-10:30pm I get ready for bed, remove my makeup, wash my face, brush my teeth, brush my hair etc.
10:30pm-11:00pm I hop into bed and read a book (I'm a nerd!)
11:00pm I go to sleep and drift off to the world of my crazy imagination

See you,

A Day In Guilianna's Life

Hello everyone! x

This week members of The Little Chatter Boxes are taking you with us on a day in our lives- how exciting! My days are very much the same- working out, going to class, blogging, eating, and studying.

I typically start the morning off with writing in my journal: I record my dreams, feelings, expectations, etc.

To see a full in depth morning routine click here.

I then attend my college class. I'm the youngest in my class which is super cool, but it can be intimidating sometimes. Every now and then I don't feel comfortable sharing my opinion, but I'm getting used to it.

When I get back from class, I jump into the books right away. I want to make sure I can still have time to do something fun to do later in the evening. Right now I'm working on a five page essay.

If I find that I have some spare time, I work on my blog and this collaboration blog.

Then, obviously I have dinner. Tonight's dinner was delicious!

I'm currently in the process of learning how to drive. So my dad took my out on the road for a little bit. I'm actually getting the hang of it. I feel super confident behind the wheel.

Lastly, I spend my night watching YouTube beauty gurus, journaling, and/or browsing social media. And of course spending some time with my dog!

And there you have it; a typical day in my life. I know I'm not the most exciting person ever, but you know!

Thanks for reading,

Guilianna xoxo

Pauline's Boohoo Wishlist

Boohoo is a site that is big on festival and party wear. However, they do sell clothes for almost every occasion (I got my leavers' prom dress from there) and I've been looking at stuff to buy for university so that I had clothes to wear.

There's quite a few so I've linked them all. Photos will make this post super long...
All links open on a new window so read and click as much as you want! :-)

Here's what I found and, hopefully, will buy:

*All photos from boohoo.com

Tops

Mia Oversized Plain Woven Shirt

Sadie Crochet Trim Collarless Shirt
Sadie Crochet Trim Collarless Shirt

Bottoms

Penny 90's Grunge Button Front Skater Skirt

Playsuits and Jumpsuits

Maria Crossback 3/4 Sleeve Playsuit
Buying clothes online can be a bit scary or intimidating since fitting issues can arise with it - you can't try the clothes on before buying them and returning them is just a bit of a hassle, isn't it?
With Boohoo, the fit is probably one of the best I've had from clothes that have been bought online and the colour match from the screen to reality is pretty good. For those with UniDays, you also get student discount which is really useful!

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x
