Guilianna's TMI Tag

Hello everyone! x

This week on "The Little Chatter Boxes" we'll be doing the TMI Tag. We thought it would be a great way for our readers to get to know us individually. It's just a very relaxed week; hope you enjoy it!

1. What are you wearing?
I am currently wearing sweatpants by Victoria Secret's PINK line, with fuzzy socks and an old tee. The goal here is comfort, ahaha.

2. Ever been in love?
Have I ever been in love? When it comes down to it, no. I don't think I've ever been in love.

3. Ever had a terrible breakup?
I've only had two: the fact that I'm still alive radiates positive vibes.

4. How tall are you?
I currently stand 5'4".

5. How much do you weigh?
I weigh approximately 110 pounds.

6. Any tattoos?
No, but I think I might want one when I'm older.

7. Any piercings?
Just my ears. I got them pierced when I was fairly young.

8. OTP?
Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift all the way. I have a good feeling about this one.

9. Favorite show?
Currently: Married At First Sight

10. Favorite bands?
I don't really have any favorite bands, but my favorite singer is Taylor Swift by a far. I also enjoy listening to Kelly Clarkson and Megan Trainor.

11. Something you miss?
I miss the optimism I grew up with. Now that I'm older I'm skeptical about everything: people, the internet, etc.

12. Favorite song?
Currently: "Lovin' So Hard" by Becky G; It tends to change every month, week... day. You know how it is.

13. How old are you?
I'm 16 years old.

14. Zodiac sign?
Scorpio

15. Quality you look for in a partner?
I made a whole post dedicated to this on my personal blog. I want someone who is true to not only me, but themselves.

16. Favorite quote?
"If you're lucky enough to be different, don't ever change." -Taylor Swift

17. Favorite actor?
Mariska Hargitay

18. Favorite color?
I love the color mint green. It's definitely my favorite color, but a close second is coral.

19. Loud music or soft?
Loud. Loud. Loud.

20. Where do you go when you're sad?
Typically to my room. I immediately pull out to my journal and put on a song that represents the situation. It helps me analyze the scene a bit easier.

21. How long does it take you to shower?
It depends. If I'm going somewhere it can take ten minutes. If I have the day to myself, I take a bath that lasts at least one hour, two hours top.

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Again, it depends. It can take me a total of twenty minutes or an hour and a half. It just depends on where I'm going.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?
No, and to be quite honest I hope I never am.

24. Turn on?
When a guy asks you on a real date in person. This shows that he's confident and he's chivalrous.

25. Turn off?
When boys only care about sex appeal. I can't stand that.

26. The reason I joined Blogger?
I joined Blogger because I wanted a place where I could express my thoughts to the world.

27. Fears?
I have an irrational fear of spiders and other creepy things that crawl. I also have a fear of failing.

28. Last thing that made you cry?
Yesterday! I took my Otter Box case off of my iPhone 6 to dry it since it was raining... No later did I drop my phone on the cement. It shattered. Completely. I'm getting it fixed on Wednesday.

29. Last time you said you loved someone?
This morning to my sister.

30. Meaning behind your blog name?
My blog is called "Guilianna Marie". It's my name. That's it. I apologize for the lack of creativity.

31. Last book you read?
I don't even remember to be honest. I'd rather read a magazine or a blog post.

32. The book you're currently reading?
N/A

33. Last show you watched?
Austin and Ally

34. Last person you talked to?
My friend, Kyle.

Her name is Lauren. She's one of my best friends.

36. Favorite food?
I have to be honest: pizza.

37. Place you want to visit?
This is my biggest dream: Paris, France. I want to see the Eiffel Tower so bad. Seeing pictures online is incomparable to the rush you get when you're actually there.

38. Last place you were?
In my house: my living room. I was listening to some music with my dog.
Vacation: Florida

39. Do you have a crush?
Don't we all? My crush just happens to be a guy that goes to my school, but I am NOT going to date him. When I date people I just mess up our relationship as a whole.

40. Last time you kissed someone?
February- my last boyfriend was the last time I kissed someone. No worries though, a summer romance is going to frolic into the air very soon!

41. Last time you were insulted?
My sister probably insulted me sometime over the weekend. At this point, I just ignore it. We have our silly little play fights like other siblings.

43. What instruments do you play?
I used to play the guitar and I taught myself via YouTube how to play the piano.

I don't have a specific piece of jewelry that I admire more than an other, but I do like simple, silver brackets.
Ex. Alex & Ani bangles

45. Last sport you played?
Soccer, but I'm completely done. I'm focusing on my school work and future career.

46. Last song you sang?
"Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift

47. Favorite chat up line?
I don't really have a specific favorite pickup line, but I do laugh at anything cheesy.

48. Have you ever used it?
I've never used a chat up line on a guy. I don't have the guts to do so.

49. Last time you hung out with anyone?
I hung out with my family last week when we were vacationing in Florida.

50. Who should answer these questions next?
You! If you haven't done this tag already, I would highly recommend it. If you have already done it be sure to leave a link below so I can check it out.

Summer Trends: Paisley Prints

Prints are still in style, transitioning from floral to paisley and it's the festival season that's mainly to blame. A new way to show off that colourful atmosphere and stand out from the crowd by taking an already established fashion choice - bandanas - and turning into something that can be worn by everyone.

Love this where can I get this in the UK?

I, personally, like the paisley trend because it's not as feminine as floral prints and the designs can be manipulated in so many ways to create something that is ideal for different types of people.

The pattern is so versatile and you literally can have one outfit that can be used for anything. A little tweaking, like a change of shoes or a jacket, can turn one outfit into a completely different one.

Definitely something I'm falling in love with for fall.

Bandana wearers, we salute you!

That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

Summer Trends 2015: Printed Shorts

Hello Fabulous Internet!
One of Summer 2015 trends are printed shorts. I think this is a really great way to add a pop of colour to an otherwise plain outfit.
The thing I love about this trend is that it can be casual or formal by just changing the shoes or shirt. For a more casual look you could wear a white t-shirt or a crop top with a pair of printed shorts and to make it more formal you could wear a blouse.
I think it is a fun and interesting to add colour to anyone's wardrobe no matter what you are in to. I hope this trend does not end to quickly because I think it is such a fun way to experiment with colour.
You can see from the the different outfits above that there is so much variety to this one trend.
What do you think of this trend?
See you,

Summer Trends 2015: Black & White

Hello everyone! x

This week on "The Little Chatter Boxes" we'll be covering the latest summer trends. Black and white is back and I couldn't be happier about it. Black is my go-to color in any situation because it's chic and slimming. White is another versatile color. It goes with anything and everything. The two together can be warn anywhere.

Here are two different ways to style the black and white texture trend:

1. Add a pop of color.
A pop of color to any neutral look is what makes or breaks the outfit. Personally, I love the look of adding a pop of color within my shoes. Typically, when I wear a plain white shirt with denim cut-offs I immediately eye up some of my shoes that are bold in color or have a funky design on them. They really add some glam to the outfit.

2. Layer different prints.
We've all seen this on the runway. Why not try it for that concert you're heading to next weekend? This look is a lot more bold then the previous look, yet I still love it. I would definitely try the third look for a date night!

Review: Herbal Essences Bee Strong Strengthening Cream

Well the name sure is a mouthful.

In the bathroom currently sits Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner. Since using them, my hair has felt softer and more volumised (poofy). I didn't actually plan on buying the leave in cream; I went into the store and saw the cream next to the shampoo and conditioner on the shelf and decided to buy it along with the two just to try it.

On the bottle it says that it works from the first use and, my God, it did. My hair felt so soft I was playing with it, pretty much, during the rest of the night. My hair also looked shinier and I had to share it on Instagram!

Okay, since this is a review, I doubt you'd want to find the pros and cons through masses of text so I'll make it easy and bullet-point them:

Pros

  • The cream works straight away and is easy to apply - just spray it onto your hair after you wash it and work it in. It only takes a few minutes.
  • It's not expensive. I bought it for £4.39.
  • It smells absolutely delightful and matches the scent of its shampoo and conditioner partners so your hair will just smell like honey.
  • It dries with your hair so you don't have to wait longer for it.

Cons

  • From what I know, it isn't available at Boots and Superdrug so those of you with the loyalty cards can't claim the points (myself included *sad emoji*).
  • It doesn't provide heat protection so for those who straighten their hair, like me, can only really use it when they're not planning on using heat appliances afterwards. When I am, I go back to using my Aussie "Take The Heat" or L'Oreal's Hot Straight Cream for my hair.
That's all for now. Stay beautiful x

Maybelline New York Expression Colour Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow

Left: Bad to the Bronze/ On and On Bronze
Right: Tough as Taupe/ Permanent Taupe
Hello Fabulous Internet,
I really like these cream eye shadows because they are the first eye shadows that I have got, that haven't creased in the first half an hour of application (I have really oily eyelids). I don't know why but Maybelline New York decided to give these eye shadows different names (one for USA and the other for Europe etc.) They say that they last 24 hours but for me personally (with my oily eyelids) they last 8-10 hours (which is good!). The ones I have are Bad to the Bronze/On and On Bronze and
Tough as Taupe/ Permanent Taupe but I think I might get a few more in the future.

As you can see, I haven't used very much out of them that is because I have only grown my love for them in the past month. I use Bad to the Bronze/On and On Bronze as an eye shadow base and I use Tough as Taupe/ Permanent Taupe as an eyeliner because black eyeliner doesn't suit me at all! (it makes my eyes look even smaller)
As you can see from the picture, Bad to the Bronze/On and On Bronze is a shimmery gold while Tough as Taupe/ Permanent Taupe is more of a matte grey.

The great thing about cream eye shadows is that you can use your fingers to create a great look. For Bad to the Bronze/On and On Bronze I use my fingers because I like a gentle wash of colour on my eyelids while for Tough as Taupe/ Permanent Taupe I like to use an angled eyeliner brush.

This product costs €10.49, $6.99 (US), or £4.99

I really enjoy using this product because it doesn't crease or disappear in a few hours of application. I think they are well priced and a little really goes a long way!

What is your favourite beauty product?
See you,

Spotlight: The Beauty Blender

Hi everyone! x

This week Ro, Pauline, and myself will be talking about our favorite beauty products. Without hesitation I knew exactly what I wanted to talk about: the one and only beauty blender.

Buy This Product- http://www.sephora.com/beautyblender-P228913?skuId=1151869

// How To Use //

1. Wet the sponge and squeeze out any excess water.

2. Apply product.

3. Stipple: Bounce the sponge onto the skin while applying light pressure onto the surface of your skin.

4. Mistakes happen all the time, when they do use a dry beauty blender to buff away streaks.

// Review //

How did I obtain this product?
I heard about this product from Lindsey, or Beautybaby44 on YouTube. After hearing about it for so long I finally brought myself to make the purchase with a gift card.

Packaging: 3/5
It's pink. Plain and pink. I think it would be a lot cuter if they came in different prints.

You can see my love for this product is real.

Application: 5/5
It is a little time consuming running it under tap water, but it's definitely worth it. I've never seen a smoother application. With brushes it takes me about 5 minutes to even the product out. (Remember to press it into the skin and bounce it. Over time I discovered that it helps to roll it into your skin to conceal blemishes to the extreme.)

Finish: 5/5
I love the dewy finish the blender leaves on my face. There are no streaks whatsoever which is something I absolutely love.

Price: 4/5
This product retails for approximately $19.95. Overall it is a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. It's nothing different compared to your average foundation blush.

Overal: 17/20
Overall, I absolutely love this product. It's the perfect tool to use when you're in a rush or when you're looking for a flawless finish.

The other day I was in a hurry so I threw the damp sponge into my bag. My makeup was done in five minutes with ease!

Check out this tutorial I did using the beauty blender-
